Overview
Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Do you want to help create a safer, more supportive environment for people affected by drug use? Join Change Grow Live as an Criminal Justice Support Volunteer.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact, greeting visitors with warmth and respect.
- Support our criminal justice team in delivering harm reduction interventions around drug and alcohol use
- Delivering Needle and syringe exchange
- Provide non-judgmental advice on safer drug & alcohol use, including injecting, overdose prevention, and emergency response.
- Providing Naloxone and safe storage boxes to our service users
- Completing BBV testing
- Supporting our service users in attending DRR & ATR appointments
- Multi agency working
- Supporting the team in case management, recording notes on our case management system
- Supporting our service users in meeting their support plans, working towards their future goals and aspirations
