Requirements

Applicants must hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine and be registered with the RCVS. A minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience is required to ensure confidence in handling clinical duties.

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a growing and successful small animal practice in the Kettering Area, Northamptonshire

  • full time permanent role working 40 hours a week including 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH
  • practice is established, successful and growing and is undergoing huge investment currently with an upcoming relaunch, rebrand and plans to extend.
  • this is a fast paced and busy surgery with a loyal and varied caseload, including consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and routine surgery.
  • the role would suit an experienced and confident veterinary surgeon, comfortable handling consultations, diagnostics and routine surgery with a minimum of 2-3 years’ post qualification experience
  • join a supportive and passionate team of 2 Vets, 4 RVNs with opportunity to mentor junior team members where appropriate.
  • great location to live and work! - a thriving and flourishing town located in the heart of the UK on the borders with Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire.
  • relocation packages including visa sponsorship available if needed

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • comfortable handling consultations, diagnostics and routine surgery
  • minimum of 2-3 years’ post qualification experience
