Candidates must be a qualified MRCVS with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and client service. The role requires a team-oriented professional capable of performing a broad range of soft tissue surgeries and managing a busy caseload.
Job Description
Our clinic is fully equipped to support high‑quality diagnostics, surgical care, and advanced procedures. On‑site equipment includes:
Dental radiography
Digital radiography (DR)
Fully equipped surgical theatre
Ultrasound
In addition, the practice has access to advanced imaging and specialist equipment, including:
Endoscopy
Computed Tomography (CT)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Laparoscopic surgical equipment
Facilities for spinal surgeries
You’ll be joining a supportive, highly skilled team with a strong mix of experience, mentorship, and clinical capability.
Team at a glance: 1 Lead Vet, 1 Head Nurse, 1 Part‑time RVN, 2 SVNs, 1 VCA, 1 CCA, plus a visiting cardiologist.
Our practice manages a moderate–high volume of consultations, offering strong exposure to a wide variety of cases. We have a particular clinical focus on dentistry, with a consistently busy dental caseload and we routinely perform a broad range of soft tissue surgeries.
Our clinic is located in a busy, friendly suburban area with just a short walk from a mainline train station with direct links into London, making commuting straightforward. The surrounding neighbourhood has recently benefited from new retail and residential developments. We also offer free and ample parking for staff and clients.
We offer a flexible working pattern of 18–36 hours per week, depending on the candidate’s availability. The rota is designed to provide stability, fairness, and a healthy work–life balance.
Standard shift: 9:00am – 6:30pm
Weekly structure: One fixed day off each week
Weekend rota: 1 weekend in 6, pro rata for part‑time hours
Bank Holidays: Fairly shared across the team, typically 1–2 shifts per year
Cross‑site working: Occasional support at nearby practices or the local hospital may be required
