Life at St Elmo Veterinary Centre
This role is part-time, 30 hours a week across 3 days. It includes a share in the weekend rota which is covering up to two weekends across a year as well as one on-call night shift every three weeks – this is a sleep-in shift based out of St Elmo, providing support to the surrounding practices across the area.

St Elmo Veterinary Centre is a welcoming first-opinion, small animal practice based in Londonderry, offering a great blend of city convenience and access to the stunning landscapes of the North West. With beautiful coastal routes, surrounding countryside and local amenities all within easy reach, the practice enjoys an excellent location while maintaining a strong community feel and loyal client base. The practice's Healthy Pet Club Advanced scheme also enables strong continuity of care through follow-up consultations, helping teams build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Supported by a close-knit team of three vets, four nurses, and a student nurse, St Elmo provides a collaborative working environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. The practice benefits from visiting certificate holders in orthopaedics and cardiology, helping to expand the range of cases managed locally.
Our facilitates include an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and much more, and alongside being an ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Practice, St Elmo is committed to providing a positive experience for all clients, patients, and colleagues.
About You
