If you’re a passionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for your next opportunity in a practice where your development, ideas and contribution genuinely matter, we’d love to hear from you.

Medivet Bermuda Park, Nuneaton is an established, Branch partner led, community-focused veterinary practice with a loyal and growing client base. Our amazing clinic was designed by our experienced partner ensuring it has everything you need for treating your patients. We’re a friendly and supportive team who genuinely care about our patients, our clients and each other. With modern facilities, an experienced team and an interesting and varied caseload, we’re building something special — and we’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to be part of that journey.

About The Role

This position would suit a vet with a minimum of two years experience with good all-round clinical experience who enjoys working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.

We would particularly welcome applications from a Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in medicine, as this would complement our existing surgical expertise and help us continue to develop the breadth of services we can offer our patients. However veterinary surgeons with any interest are very welcome.

You’ll work alongside our experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons and RVNs, managing a varied first-opinion caseload while having the opportunity to develop your own clinical interests.

We believe in supporting our vets to develop in the areas they enjoy, and we’ll encourage you to pursue your professional interests while benefiting from the experience and expertise already within the team.

Excellent facilities and a varied caseload

With our branch partner being an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Surgery, we have excellent equipment and access to a varied and interesting caseload.

Our Facilities Include

  • Digital radiography
  • Dental radiography
  • Laparoscopy
  • Endoscopy- rigid & flexible
  • Colour Doppler ultrasound
  • ECG
  • Extensive orthopaedic equipment, including equipment for frequent TPLO procedures
  • In-house intra-articular therapy
  • Zoetis AI Imagyst
  • And much more

This provides an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon who wants to expand their clinical skills and gain experience with a broad range of cases.

A supportive team environment

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, approachable and supportive practice. We genuinely care about providing outstanding care to our patients and clients, while also creating an environment where our team can enjoy their work and develop professionally.

Whether you have a particular interest in medicine that you’d like to develop further, or you’re looking for a role that offers a good mix of medical and surgical work, we’ll support you in making the role your own.

The position is a four day working week.

As part of Medivet’s hub-and-spoke model, there will also be participation in 1 in 6 weekend duties at our Leamington Spa hospital, giving you further exposure to a wider range of cases and ensuring continuity of care for your patients.
