Job Description
Salary: Up to £60,000
Easthampstead, Berkshire, Bracknell Forest
Apply Shortlist
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at Medivet Bracknell Easthampstead – a welcoming, community focused first opinion practice with a loyal client base and a strong reputation for delivering exceptional patient care
Bracknell Easthampstead is part of a closely connected group of five local Medivet practices, each supported by an experienced Lead Vet.
This means you benefit from the feel and continuity of working within your own practice, while also having access to a much wider network of clinical experience, support and collaboration across the group and through our 24-hour hospital in Wokingham.
The five-practice group also have an experienced Partner, bringing additional clinical and leadership support across the practices. For our vets, this means greater access to mentorship, clearer clinical oversight and more structured opportunities for career development. Whether you are looking to build confidence in a particular area, work towards a certificate, develop your leadership skills or progress towards a more senior clinical role, you will have experienced colleagues around you to help shape that pathway.
You will have regular 1:1s to discuss your development, caseload, wellbeing and career ambitions, alongside ongoing support from your Lead Vet and Partner. Our aim is to make sure you have clear direction and progression, while still giving you the clinical autonomy to develop into the vet you want to be.
The close relationship between the five practices also creates opportunities to share knowledge, discuss cases and draw on the strengths and interests of colleagues across the group. Combined with the facilities and clinical expertise available at Wokingham Hospital, you will have a strong support network around you both day-to-day and when managing more challenging cases.
With access to Medivet’s hub-and-spoke model, complex cases can be referred to our nearby 24‑hour hospital in Wokingham giving you access to advanced diagnostics, specialist teams, and a wider clinical network, modern equipment and clear development pathways. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your clinical skills and make a meaningful impact.
As part of Medivet’s hub‑and‑spoke model, you’ll also spend one weekend in six in our 24‑hour hospital in Wokingham. You will also participate in the on-call & Bank holiday rota.
