Tyre Fitter / Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Fit, repair, and replace tyres on various types of vehicles ensuring safety and performance standards.
• Carry out routine automotive maintenance and servicing tasks including brakes, steering, and suspension checks.
• Inspect vehicles for defects and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Operate tyre fitting machinery and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional advice regarding tyre care and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist in managing inventory of tyres and automotive parts.

• Proven experience as a tyre fitter, automotive service technician, or similar role.
• Familiarity with tyre fitting equipment and automotive diagnostic tools.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems related to tyres, brakes, steering, and suspension.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Relevant vocational certifications or training in automotive servicing is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
