Job Description: Eagle Freights Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong track record of driving HGVs in the UK, adhere to all safety regulations, and deliver goods in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate HGVs to transport goods to various destinations across the UK.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and any incidents.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
Requirements:
Good to have experience but is not a must
Valid LGV C+E driving license.
Tramp5 Shift. 5 days a week
Professional driving qualification (Driver CPC).
Clean driving record with no history of drug use.
Ability to pass a comprehensive DBS check.
Valid visa status documents (if applicable).
Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and traffic regulations.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with long-haul driving.
Familiarity with GPS and other navigation tools.
