What You’ll Do
Are you an experienced treasury professional who enjoys combining hands-on treasury operations with systems improvement, financial analysis and process transformation?
We’re looking for a Treasury Accountant to join our Finance team and play an important role in helping Notting Hill Genesis effectively manage its cash, debt and financial risks.
This is a varied role where you’ll be at the heart of our day-to-day treasury operations. You’ll monitor and forecast cash requirements, manage liquidity, support the management of our debt portfolio and ensure treasury transactions are accurately accounted for.
You’ll also take the lead on our Treasury Management System, helping us get the most from our technology, improve processes and reporting, and continue developing a more efficient and digitally enabled treasury function.
Working with colleagues across Finance and the wider organisation, as well as banks, lenders and other external stakeholders, you’ll provide a responsive, accurate and high-quality treasury service that supports sound financial decision-making and ultimately enables us to continue delivering for our residents.

We’re looking for a Treasury Accountant to join our Finance team and play an important role in helping Notting Hill Genesis effectively manage its cash, debt and financial risks.

Working with colleagues across Finance and the wider organisation, as well as banks, lenders and other external stakeholders, you’ll provide a responsive, accurate and high-quality treasury service that supports sound financial decision-making and ultimately enables us to continue delivering for our residents.
How You’ll Do It
- Deliver an outstanding operational treasury service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor the Group’s daily cash position and forecast future cash requirements, ensuring sufficient liquidity is available to meet our financial obligations.
- Manage the investment of surplus cash in accordance with NHG’s Treasury Management Policy.
- Support the effective management of the Group’s debt portfolio, including drawdowns and the rollover of floating-rate loans.
- Ensure interest payments and other treasury obligations are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain covenant compliance schedules and ensure required information is provided to lenders within agreed deadlines.
- Take ownership of the Treasury Management System, ensuring information is accurate, current and effectively used to manage the Group’s debt portfolio.
- Lead improvements and enhancements to the Treasury Management System, using technology and dynamic reporting to improve efficiency and help make treasury increasingly digital.
- Maintain bank mandates across the Group and support the opening and administration of bank accounts, including KYC requirements.
- Oversee electronic banking interfaces and help ensure appropriate controls are maintained.
- Ensure treasury transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, banks, lenders and other stakeholders, providing clear and dependable treasury information and support.
- Continually look for opportunities to improve treasury processes, controls, systems and reporting.

Essential
- Proven knowledge and practical experience of treasury operations and an understanding of their wider impact on an organisation.
- Experience of implementing, developing or enhancing a Treasury Management System, including improving treasury reporting.
- Experience of treasury accounting, including accounting for financial derivatives.
- Strong experience of bank account management, including electronic banking interfaces, bank mandates, opening accounts and coordinating KYC requirements.
- Practical experience of preparing multi-company daily cash-flow forecasts and reporting daily cash positions.
- Experience of investing surplus cash and managing drawdowns from loan facilities within a large or complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of cash and liquidity management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information, identify issues and provide practical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with an interest in using systems and technology to improve treasury processes and reporting.
- Membership of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) or qualification as a CCAB accountant.
