We're looking for a technically minded Product Manager to take ownership of an exciting portfolio of technology products and services. You'll play a key role in shaping product strategy, supporting new product launches, and acting as the technical expert for both internal stakeholders and customers.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your technical expertise and commercial awareness will have a real impact.

The Role

As Technical Product Manager, you'll take ownership of products throughout their lifecycle—from concept and development through to launch, growth and retirement.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Customer Support teams, you'll ensure products remain competitive, commercially successful and aligned with customer needs.

You'll also become the technical champion for your product portfolio, helping colleagues and customers understand the value of complex technologies through clear communication and engaging technical content.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing the full lifecycle of technical products and services.
  • Defining product requirements and supporting software and hardware development projects.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to evaluate and introduce new technologies.
  • Developing go-to-market strategies alongside Product and Marketing teams.
  • Creating technical documentation including user guides, FAQs, white papers, application notes and product collateral.
  • Supporting product launches with sales materials, technical presentations and internal documentation.
  • Delivering product demonstrations, customer presentations and technical workshops.
  • Providing technical support during customer meetings and industry events.
  • Conducting competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Managing relationships with technology partners and hardware manufacturers.
  • Delivering product training to sales, support and wider business teams.

Essential Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in Technical Product Management.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking.
  • Experience within satellite communications, telecommunications or a similar technology sector.
  • Experience working with hardware manufacturers and technology suppliers.
  • Requirements gathering and product specification experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of modern satellite communications technologies.
  • Experience with VSAT networks and associated infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
