About The Role

As Team Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production activities. The role focuses on coordinating team efforts, managing daily priorities and facilitating effective communication across shifts. The role involves working a 4 on 6 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights)

What You Will Do

As a Team Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and performance of a team by effectively coordinating activities, managing priorities, and facilitating communication. Provide support to team members, helping to resolve issues, tracking progress towards goals. The Team Coordinator supports team members, resolves operational issues, and tracks progress towards machine performance goals, contributing to a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.

  • Collaborating with team members to execute production orders accurately and efficiently. 
  • Providing operational support, including logistics, coordination and resource allocation. 
  • Facilitating clear and consistent communication across the team to align tasks and schedules. 
  • Monitoring compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards. 
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process optimization and loss elimination. 
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals. 
  • Managing resources (materials, tools, equipment) with cost-consciousness. 
  • Tracking daily task progress to ensure timely and quality completion. 
  • Supporting knowledge transfer and skill development within the team. 
  • Contributing to the achievement of team and departmental objectives. 
  • Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure operational alignment. 
  • Managing the team’s personal administration such as payroll, interflex management, absence management documentation
  • Crisis management on your shift including initial stage of incident investigation such as fact finding (statements, photo evidence)
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture. 
  • Leading the planning and execution of the 24-hour Communication Cycle, including: Shift Handovers, DOM, CIL, PM, Changeovers, CL updates, and break coverage. 
  • Coaching and training team members in: Beliefs and Behaviours, Operator-Centric Way of Working, Operational and Technical Competencies. 
  • Anticipating future team needs and planning accordingly (e.g., trials, changeovers, coverage, training, EO work).

Experience And Qualification Requirements 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in team coordination or an administrative role. 
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows, task prioritization, and resource management. 
  • Previous experience in a production environment is essential. 
  • Experience in team coordination is preferred.
