About the role
As our Staff Engineer, Shopper Technology, you'll connect engineering strategy with technical execution across a broad technology landscape at the LEGO Group. You'll report to the Vice President of Shopper Technology and work closely with Lead Engineers to create scalable, maintainable solutions that support LEGO® branded e-commerce and store experiences, including LEGO.com, membership experiences, order management, and payments. This is a permanent role with significant influence across product teams, engineering disciplines, and technology domains.

Delivered technical leadership across multiple engineering teams or domains in a senior engineering role
Built solutions using AWS native services within large-scale production environments
Developed modern applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js
Led architectural decision-making for distributed systems with multiple dependencies and integrations
Implemented security and data privacy practices for customer-facing digital products
Shaped engineering standards, technical strategy, and software development practices across teams
