Sports Physiotherapist — Injury Prevention & Mobility, Private Family — Abu Dhabi
Requirements
Candidates must have UK or European physiotherapy training with current registration and proven experience in sports physiotherapy and manual therapy. You must be able to relocate alone, travel at short notice, and maintain complete discretion.
Job Description
A private family in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, is building its household medical support and wishes to appoint a sports physiotherapist.
This is a permanent, live-in position with the family, with annual leave.
From the first day, you travel with the family wherever its diary takes it, across several countries.
Physiotherapists based in Cardiff or elsewhere in the United Kingdom, trained in the UK or Europe and ready to relocate, are welcome to apply.
Your brief is to keep active principals mobile, resilient and free of avoidable injury.
Movement analysis and biomechanical assessment shape a clear injury-prevention plan.
Mobility work, joint mobilisation and proprioception training carry that plan through the week.
You treat one-to-one, at the residence and on the move, with real continuity of care.
Requirements
UK or European physiotherapy training, with registration current in the country where you qualified.
Proven experience in sports physiotherapy, manual therapy and movement-based rehabilitation.
A background supporting elite athletes or high-profile clients will strengthen your application.
At ease with neuromuscular techniques, movement control and breathing and core work.
Able to start within six weeks, relocate alone and travel with the family at short notice.
Fluent English, sound judgement and complete discretion under a strict NDA.
Training in the UK or Europe is the criterion; nationality is not.
Benefits
A salary from £60,000 a year gross, depending on experience.
Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
Accommodation is free of charge throughout the appointment.
Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
A permanent post with annual leave.
International travel visas are handled and paid for by the family.
Time off and days off follow the family's diary, as is usual in private households.
The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
Engagement essentials
The appointment is live-in and single-status; you relocate alone.
Flexibility on hours and destinations is essential, as the family's plans can change quickly.
Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
