Title: Software Engineer

Location: London, UK

Salary: £100k–£150k + Equity + Benefits

About the Role:

The team is deliberately flat: engineers sit together daily, argue out the best outcome, and every voice is heard. CTO leads the technical vision, with lead engineer beneath him and the rest of the engineers across the team.

The role exists to add engineering capacity quickly while keeping the bar extremely high. The person will own areas of the product to ship them quickly to customers, and may work across frontend, backend, infra, or AI/ML depending on where their strengths best fit.

  • The company wants engineers who can take hard, ambiguous problems and turn them into something real that ships.
  • The company wants people who build end to end and care about the whole problem, not just one slice.
  • The company wants engineers who help shape what to build, what to skip, and when to ship.
  • The team is early-stage, rapidly scaling, and expected to keep a very high quality bar while hiring five engineers.


Requirements:

  • Exceptional engineering pedigree is non-negotiable, with standout work at a top company, leading AI lab, elite trading firm, or fast-scaling startup.
  • Genuine strength in at least one of frontend, backend, infrastructure, or AI/ML is required, ideally more.
  • The engineer owns what they ship and builds at production grade.
  • The engineer has strong judgement on what to build, what to skip, and when to ship.
  • The engineer stays effective when requirements are unclear and evolving.
