Requirements
Candidates must have practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Integration Services, and C#.NET development. A strong understanding of RDBMS like SQL Server or Oracle and business analysis methodology is also required.
Job Description
Recruiting for a Software Developer to migrate integrations between two systems. The integrations will use Microsoft Fabric pipelines to manage these data flows.
Your new role
- Implementing scalable, high quality, secure and high-performance integrations through systems analysis, specifications, designing, programming, configuring, testing, deployment, user training and documentation.
- Collaborating with relevant users to ensure the effective integration of systems, where possible using adopted integration standards and middleware.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of IT developments and software analysis, design and programming tools.
- Assisting with the provision of user documentation, training and training material in the use of information systems, where needed.
- Bringing a positive, "can do" attitude to the role; assisting the university in supporting and developing its digital estate.
What you'll need to succeed
- A practical experience and understanding of using Microsoft Fabric to orchestrate workflows.
- Have practical knowledge and hands on experience of developing within the Azure platform, in particular Azure Integration Services (AIS), including function apps, service bus, event grid.
- A good knowledge and practical experience of successful software application development using MS SQL and Microsoft.NET (C#.NET and Restful API) within the Azure platform, to build components to support these workflows.
- Have thorough knowledge of RDBMS e.g. SQL Server, Oracle.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Unit 4 ERP or equivalent finance systems.
- Good knowledge and competency in business analysis and design methodology.
