Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, movement of materials on site, and shipment of materials and finished goods off site to Honeywell Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing inventory transactions, coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company quality, and safety.
This is a full time role based in our Southend location.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and related documentation.
- Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming materials and process goods receipts and inventory transactions accurately within SAP.
- Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, quality, and operations teams to resolve receiving discrepancies.
- Aid in preparing products and materials for shipment in accordance with packaging standards and customer requirements.
- Generate labels and documentation, process outbound deliveries and coordinate daily shipments with approved carriers, logistics providers and internal team
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper transaction processing and material handling; perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities and investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and company policies
Qualifications
Key skills and qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, or inventory control.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. Experience using SAP or other ERP systems would be preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
