Requirements
Candidates must hold a PhD in cancer biology, immunology, molecular biology, or a related discipline. Strong expertise in in vivo cancer modelling, tumour immunology, and molecular cloning is required.
Job Description
Salary: Salary Range: £56,000 - £62,836 per annum. Commencement on the salary range is subject to comparable skills and experience.
Reporting to: Group Leader, Dr David Kung-Chung Chiu
Duration of Contract: Fixed Term for 3 years
Hours per week: 35 hours per week (Full Time)
Location: Sutton

Under the guidance of Dr David Kung-Chung Chiu, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Scientific Officer to provide scientific and technical leadership in establishing and operating advanced in vivo cancer modelling and immunology platforms, while contributing to the development of innovative therapeutic strategies

The Centre for In Vivo Modelling is a newly established research centre within the Division of Cancer Biology at the ICR. Our scientists and clinical researchers use state-of-the-art in vivo models to address fundamental questions in cancer biology, with the ultimate aim of identifying curative treatments. We also serve as a collaborative hub across the ICR and The Royal Marsden, providing cutting-edge expertise in advanced mouse genetics and humanised in vivo models of cancer.
Professor Kamil R Kranc, Chair of Haemato-Oncology, serves as the Centre's Director.
