Job Description
We are partnering with a global algorithmic trading firm hiring senior Python developers in London, with new headcount specifically supporting its greenfield expansion into US equities and traditional finance.
The firm is planning substantial growth in its US presence over the next year, alongside significant investment in AI and the launch of new TradFi business lines.
For senior engineers, this offers the opportunity to shape new systems from the outset, influence technical decisions and take ownership of applications supporting an expanding trading business.
You’ll join a small engineering team working closely with traders, quantitative researchers and C++ developers. The wider Python remit spans trading data, real-time positions, reconciliation, trader tools and research infrastructure.
We’re keen to speak with developers who bring:
- Strong Python skills and experience designing reliable production systems.
- Confidence working with SQL databases and Linux.
- A pragmatic approach to engineering and the ability to own projects from design through delivery.
- An interest in working closely with trading and research teams.
US equities experience would be particularly valuable. Experience across other traditional asset classes is also relevant, and prior crypto experience is not required.
London-based, with visa sponsorship and relocation support available.
