Senior Mechanical Revit/ BIM Technician

About the Role

Amentum provides engineering, design, construction, planning, support, survey, design-build, project management and/or program management for our nuclear and defence industry clients. With more than fifty years of experience across the complete nuclear and defence asset lifecycle, we support client delivery and the associated infrastructure requirements at every stage of a project.

We are operating under flexible working arrangements, with a mixture of office-based and home working environments.  We can accommodate candidates from a variety of our offices, however Reading office would be the preferred base-office location. Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practice, and we have a need for a Senior Mechanical Revit Designer on a hybrid working basis.

Here’s What You’ll Need: 

• Experience in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks

• Ability to produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment

• Production of 2D drawings (layouts, arrangements, schematics, sections, elevations etc.) from the 3D model

• Experience coordinating systems and resolving clashes across multi disciplines

• Capability across multiple mechanical disciplines including Mechanical Building Services -

• Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards, work flows and information management

• Familiar with working in a secure environment

• Experience in using Plant 3D & Inventor platforms, not essential but nice to have.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Possess a knowledge of mechanical engineering disciplines & system designs.

• Reasonable experience in engineering in a defence or nuclear related industry preferred but not essential.

• Familiar with working in a secure environment

• Relevant qualification minimum, HND or equivalent.
