About The Role

As part of this exciting project, we are now seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Social Work. We are interested in candidates with experience of undergraduate and post-graduate and work-based learning, and degree apprenticeship delivery.

As a Registered Social Worker with a Degree and Higher Degree or relevant professional qualification, the post holder will play a vital role in the development and delivery of practice based social work courses and CPD. You will develop relationships with partners, stakeholders and service users and use these to support curriculum development.

As these are vocational programmes, contemporary experience of social work practice and current Social Work England registration is required. Backgrounds in all areas of social work will be considered, but to complement the existing team skillset we would be particularly interested in candidates with experience of statutory social work, and/or experience of practice education and supporting students on placements or post qualifying social workers.
