Job Description:

Our Infrastructure-as-a-Service Engineering team is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Integration Engineer to design, secure, integrate, and support large-scale global physical and virtual server infrastructure.

This role is ideal for an experienced infrastructure engineer with strong Linux and Python expertise and a deep understanding of distributed systems, automation, security remediation, and production operations.

You will work across infrastructure platforms and automation codebases to remediate vulnerabilities, harden systems, improve test coverage, and deliver safe, reliable production changes. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical judgment, ownership, and the ability to solve complex problems in a high-impact environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Remediate security vulnerabilities across infrastructure, automation, and platform codebases.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, maintainable, and production-ready solutions.
• Integrate vendor, open-source, and internally developed technologies into enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation using Python and related tooling.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release validation, and deployment processes.
• Create test plans and validation procedures for security, configuration, and platform changes.
• Validate changes in lab and pre-production environments before production rollout.
• Assess technical risk and minimize stability impact across complex distributed systems.
• Troubleshoot issues across Linux, infrastructure services, networking, automation, and application integration points.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and application teams to drive remediation and delivery.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, technical planning, and documentation.
• Improve platform reliability, security posture, automation maturity, and engineering practices.

What You Bring:

• Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Linux systems in enterprise or large-scale production environments.
• Strong Python development skills with experience writing robust, maintainable production code.
• Practical knowledge of distributed systems and safe infrastructure change management.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing frameworks, release engineering, and deployment automation.
• Ability to develop practical test plans, validation procedures, and production rollout strategies.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation, secure coding, system hardening, and security scanning.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, infrastructure platforms, networking, and integration points.
• Understanding of operational risk and the impact of infrastructure changes in production.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive complex technical issues through resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical risks and recommendations clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Perl in addition to Python.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, or similar.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, virtualization, private cloud, or server infrastructure platforms.
• Experience with vulnerability management platforms, security scanning tools, remediation workflows, and audit/compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with APIs, infrastructure-as-code principles, DevOps practices, and platform engineering.
