Considering a career and lifestyle change? We're recruiting an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join an established MSP in the Cayman Islands, offering tax-free earnings, relocation assistance and the opportunity to enjoy a very different lifestyle from the UK.
Our client is an established technology services provider in Grand Cayman with an experienced international team, including several colleagues who have relocated from the UK over the years.
They're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background across on-premises server infrastructure, Microsoft cloud technologies, and virtualization. It's a varied, hands-on role spanning client projects and implementations, technical consulting, escalated support and mentoring less experienced engineers.
We're looking for:
An experienced infrastructure professional with strong technical fundamentals, ideally with experience across several of the following areas:
- Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft cloud technologies (Microsoft 365 and ideally Azure).
- Hands-on experience with on-premises server infrastructure, preferably HPE
- VMware, Nutanix, HPE VME or other hypervisor technologies
- Storage, backup and disaster recovery technologies
- Experience within an MSP or IT consulting environment preferred
- Strong client-facing, troubleshooting and communication skills
- Current industry certifications are highly valued, particularly Microsoft certifications relating to Microsoft 365, Azure or Windows Server. HPE ATP certification is also desirable, or a willingness to obtain it.
What's offered:
An overall compensation package equivalent to approximately £60,000–£75,000+ annually at current exchange rates, with no income tax deductions. This includes base salary, vehicle and fuel allowances, and anticipated on-call earnings. Additional income may also be available through overtime and potential bonuses.
The package also includes employer-sponsored health insurance, pension, relocation assistance and work permit sponsorship.
