We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to join our Private Market Operations team within COO. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical finance expertise, people leadership and operational oversight to drive high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced asset management environment. Reporting into the Head of Private Market Operations, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the operating model which supports our growing Private Markets business.

Whether it's optimising key processes, managing relationships with strategic partners, launching innovative new products, or onboarding clients seamlessly, every project is an opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation at scale.
A bit about the role:
As Senior Finance Manager, you will provide leadership, oversight and direction across a range of accounting, reporting and operational activities that support Aviva Investors' Private Markets business. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting to key stakeholders, including quarterly IFRS10 reporting, together with managing relationships with external service providers. The role leads both onshore and offshore teams, driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency and service excellence. Working closely with colleagues across Aviva Investors and the wider Aviva Group, you will help develop scalable solutions, manage risk effectively and support strategic business priorities.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting and the asset management industry, specifically private market assets.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships to drive performance and influence effectively at all levels of an organisation – from c-suite down.
- A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, manage competing priorities and deliver results in a changing environment.
