Senior Delivery Lead - DevSecOps Transformation - £1000 Per Day Inside IR35 - 6 months contract - Hybrid
Your new role
A leading financial markets organisation is embarking on a large-scale technology transformation programme focused on modernising core platforms and embedding DevSecOps practices across the business. This role sits at the heart of that transformation, providing delivery leadership across multiple engineering, platform, product and supplier teams.
As the DevSecOps Delivery Lead, you will own the end-to-end delivery of a strategic DevSecOps workstream, acting as the delivery orchestrator across Product, Engineering, Operations and third-party suppliers. You'll be responsible for driving alignment, managing complex dependencies, ensuring delivery readiness and helping establish a future-proof platform that enables faster, more secure software delivery. The role has a significant change and transformation element, requiring someone who can influence stakeholders and help drive a DevSecOps mindset across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience leading complex technology delivery programmes within large enterprise environments
- Strong background in Platform Engineering, DevOps or DevSecOps transformation initiatives
- Experience operating within product-led, Agile organisations
- Ability to manage and coordinate delivery across multiple engineering teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
- Experience driving cross-functional dependencies, delivery governance and reporting
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and modern cloud platforms
- Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, observability and operational excellence initiatives
- A strong change-management mindset with the ability to drive cultural and ways-of-working transformation
- Financial services, capital markets or trading experience is desirable but not essential
