Every parcel that moves through their network feeds a digital twin used by Finance to model unit economics end to end. The Senior Data Scientist in this role owns and evolves that simulator, and builds the next generation of strategic models on top of it — working directly with Strategic Finance and FP&A.

🛠️ What you'll be doing:

• Owning and evolving the digital twin — a network simulator covering unit economics end to end
• Upgrading simulation components as operating models, service types and cost drivers change
• Building new strategic models and forecasts inside or alongside the twin
• Partnering directly with Strategic Finance/FP&A to turn their questions into modelling problems
• Shipping production-grade code (Python, SQL, APIs) that others can build on

✅ Must have requirements:

• Financial modelling, forecasting or simulation experience that's driven real commercial decisions
• Strong Python & SQL, comfortable owning your own data engineering
• Solid software engineering practices — tested, readable, modular code
• Systems thinker who can break down complex cost/operating models
• Confident explaining models to non-technical finance stakeholders

👍 Bonus points for:

• Logistics or delivery network experience
• ML experience where it materially improves forecast accuracy
• Background embedded in or partnering closely with a Finance function
