Senior Controls Manager

A leading organisation is looking to appoint a Controls Manager to join its Controls Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced controls professional to take on a key role within a growing and highly visible function.

Your new role
As Controls Manager, you will support the development, enhancement and oversight of the organisation's control framework. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to assess control effectiveness, identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent standards are maintained.
You will play an important role in embedding a strong controls culture, supporting risk and control assessments, reviewing existing processes and helping the business maintain robust governance across key operational areas.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in internal controls, risk, audit, assurance or a related governance function. You will be confident engaging with senior stakeholders and able to challenge constructively where required.
You should have strong knowledge of control frameworks, process improvement and control testing. Experience working within a complex or regulated environment would be beneficial, along with strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
