We are looking for an experienced Senior Civils Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of civil engineering projects across Ireland and the UK. This role is suited for a highly independent QS with strong experience in cost control, contract administration, and claims management.
Responsibilities- Manage full project commercial lifecycle (cost control to final accounts)
- Monitor budgets, margins, and project risks
- Handle contract administration, claims (NOCs, EOTs), and variations
- Prepare payment applications, valuations, and final accounts
- Review project programmes and identify delays or risks
- Support tendering, take-offs, BOQs, and subcontract packages
- Maintain accurate records using digital and cloud-based systems
- 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering QS roles
- Proven Irish/UK project experience (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Public Works Contracts / NEC / JCT
- Experience in claims, variations, and commercial management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory)
- Strong English communication skills
Preferred Skills - Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar tools
- Experience with remote systems and digital reporting
