ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our TTC Tech team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, playing a pivotal role in two interconnected strategic transformation initiatives: Uniworld's Longitude Replacement programme and the development of Trafalgar River's booking, servicing and operational capabilities.

The primary focus of the role will be replacing Uniworld's legacy Longitude reservations platform with a modern solution, while ensuring alignment with the evolving requirements of Trafalgar River and our wider technology landscape.

Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will independently lead business analysis activities across complex, cross-functional workstreams, acting as a trusted bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and implementation partners.

You'll work across reservations, sales, customer servicing, digital commerce, CRM, cruise operations, finance, data and technology, helping shape future business processes, define requirements and support the successful delivery of business-critical technology solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, technically literate and commercially aware Senior Business Analyst who thrives in complex transformation environments, enjoys working with senior stakeholders and wants to make a meaningful impact on how our travel businesses operate

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across the Longitude Replacement and Trafalgar River programmes, from discovery and requirements definition through testing, implementation and benefits realisation.
  • Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technology implementation teams, building trusted relationships and maintaining clear communication throughout delivery.
  • Plan and facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions and interviews to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities.
  • Analyse and document current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) business processes, including exceptions, manual workarounds, operational risks and opportunities for simplification or automation.
  • Elicit, analyse, document and validate functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, use cases, user stories and measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Identify requirements gaps, conflicts, dependencies and business impacts, supporting prioritisation and informed decision-making.
  • Maintain requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business objectives, solution design, build, testing and implementation.
  • Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, engineering teams and external vendors on solution design, fit-gap assessments and business validation.
  • Analyse integrations, APIs, data flows and dependencies across reservations, digital commerce, CRM, payments, customer servicing, cruise operations and third-party platforms.
  • Support functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defining scenarios, clarifying requirements, supporting business users and assisting with functional defect triage.
  • Contribute to data migration, cutover planning, business readiness and operational transition activities.
  • Coordinate business analysis activities across assigned workstreams, highlighting risks, resolving requirements-related issues and supporting timely decisions.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with customer needs, operational requirements and commercial objectives.

ABOUT YOU

Essential Requirements

  • At least 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst, including substantial experience independently leading analysis on complex enterprise technology and business transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience in enterprise system implementation, replacement, modernisation or integration, ideally involving business-critical legacy platforms and significant operational change.
  • Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, analysis and validation.
  • Excellent understanding of current-state and future-state process mapping, gap analysis, business-rule definition and requirements traceability.
  • Strong technical literacy, with experience analysing solutions involving multiple systems, APIs, integrations, data flows, third-party platforms and complex end-to-end workflows.
  • Experience supporting functional solution design, supplier fit-gap assessments and business validation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and resolve conflicting requirements.
  • Experience supporting functional testing, UAT, defect clarification, data migration, cutover and business readiness.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a complex international environment.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience within the travel, cruise, airline, hospitality or tourism industry.
  • Experience with reservation systems, booking engines, order-management platforms, CRM or digital commerce solutions.
  • Knowledge of Longitude, iTravel, Tropics, Salesforce or Boomi.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise technology transformation programmes across multiple brands, markets or business functions.
  • Experience collaborating with international stakeholders, technology vendors and implementation partners.

You are someone who takes ownership, exercises sound judgement and enjoys solving complex business challenges.

You combine analytical rigour with commercial awareness, understand the impact of technology decisions on customers and operations, and can translate complex technical topics into clear business implications.

You are confident influencing senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions constructively and bringing clarity to ambiguous situations.

Above all, you are proactive, collaborative and comfortable independently leading complex analysis while working closely with programme, product, architecture, engineering and testing teams.

  • Contract: 12-month fixed-term employment contract.
  • Working arrangement: Hybrid, London-based.
  • Travel: Occasional international travel may be required.
  • International collaboration: Flexibility to work with colleagues across different time zones will be important.
