Job Description

We are recruiting for a Senior Analog IC Modelling Engineer to join our client, one of Europe’s fastest-growing Semiconductor companies. This role can be based either in Berkshire or Cambridge.

As Senior Analog IC Modelling Engineer you will take ownership of modelling activities across multiple levels of abstraction, working closely with analog design, simulation and system modelling teams throughout the development process. Developing accurate and efficient models for complex, high-frequency analog circuits will be a key part of the role, as will using these models to support both circuit-level design and broader system requirements. You will play a key role in improving modelling methodologies, simulation efficiency and automation, while working closely with designers to ensure strong correlation between modelled and transistor-level results.

The Right Candidate Will Have

Extensive industry experience in analog IC design and/or modelling
Strong experience developing models for high-frequency analog circuits
Practical programming and modelling experience using Verilog-A, SystemVerilog, Python and/or MATLAB
Experience working with Cadence analog design and simulation tools
A strong understanding of analog circuit behaviour, simulation and modelling methodologies
The ability to work collaboratively with experienced analog IC designers and cross-functional engineering teams

This role would suit a senior-level analog IC engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of circuit design, modelling and simulation, and who wants to contribute to the development of advanced semiconductor technologies.
