Senior Analog IC Design Engineer – High-Speed, Cambridge
Requirements
A degree in Electronic Engineering or a similar field and several years of industry experience in analog IC design are required. Experience in one or more of data converters, PLLs, SerDes, or high-speed analog and mixed-signal design is sought; SerDes experience is especially desirable, and patents or publications are an advantage.
Job Description
With a very reputable name in the market, our client is embarking on an ambitious new growth drive in the field of high-speed wireline communications, following significant investment this year. The goal is to expand in several international locations, including Cambridge, and they seek innovative, experienced Analog IC Design Engineers who are passionate about designing, modelling and verifying high-performance custom analog circuits, as well as contributing to new architectures and innovative technologies.
This role offers a highly interesting combination of research, innovation and hands-on analog IC design work, which would suit someone with a highly analytical approach to analog design and a keen interest to develop something new. You will work on challenging analog designs in advanced FinFET technologies, using industry-leading Cadence tools.
Requirements Include
- A BSc / MSc / PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, or similar
- Several years’ experience in industry, working within analog IC design
- Data converters (ADC/DAC)
- PLLs
- SerDes
- High-speed analog and mixed-signal circuit design
- A keen interest in the development of new circuit architectures and technologies
