This forward-thinking training practice has invested heavily in AI and clinical admin support so its GPs can concentrate on patients, with a fixed daily structure that keeps workload predictable. Newly qualified GPs are warmly welcomed and genuinely supported through the step up from ST3.

Location

The practice is set in the Bedfordshire countryside, within easy reach of Bedford (around 15 minutes), Milton Keynes (around 20 minutes) and Luton (around 35 minutes), where the current team commutes in from.

The Practice

• Established GP Training Practice, with Accredited Educational Supervisors and Trainers in the partnership
• One of the most technologically advanced practices in the area, with an AI scribe for every clinician, AI triage, an AI care navigator and cloud telephony
• AI document processing and a dedicated clinical admin team clear documents every day, leaving a typical GP with around 6 blood results and 3–4 letters
• Mid-sized practice with a strong partnership team, salaried GP team, GP trainees and a broad multidisciplinary team
• Total triage model with a genuinely mixed patient population
• Weekly multidisciplinary team meeting with food provided
  
  

Your Role

• 6 sessions across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• Newly qualified GPs welcome to apply
• 25 ten-minute appointments per day, with total patient contact kept below 35
• 9am start and 6pm finish, with protected CPD and catch-up time at the end of each day
• One duty day per week finishing at 6.30pm, with the 8am to 9am hour covered by the Partners
• Home visits on duty day only, around one per week, counted within the day’s appointments
• No extended hours or enhanced access commitment
• A GP Partner on site at all times, with structured debriefs and questions actively welcomed
• Clear route to Educational Supervisor or Trainer accreditation
• Work across two sites, with site preference open to discussion
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.

• £10,500–£11,000 per session
• Annual pay uplift in line with DDRB recommendations
