Requirements

Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel, experience analyzing and interpreting data, and an understanding of financial risk concepts, including Greeks. A first-class degree in a quantitative field from a Russell Group university is required; a master’s or PhD is preferred, while familiarity with AIFMD Annex IV and SEC Form PF is a bonus.

Job Description

Morson are leading the search for a presigious counsulting firm specilialising in global investment funds. As a growing busines venture you'll have the rare opportunity to help shape our culture from the very beginning.


Excellent academics would be cucial for this opportunity, as a Risk Analyst you would play a critical role in how our clients manage portfolios, interact with counterparties, satisfy regulatory requirements, and build investor confidence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Aggregate fund-level risk data and perform risk analytics in line with OPERA reporting requirements
  • Produce and distribute monthly risk reports and regulatory submissions
  • Partner with internal teams to validate the completeness and accuracy of data
  • Manage regulatory analytics and reporting obligations for clients


The role woud join a growing team of 2 FTE with a good culture with a young and energetic team.


Thewould offer excellent renumeration and development. Based in the heart of Newcastle upon tyne and would be full time in the office.


What We're Looking For


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel
  • Experience analysing and interpreting data
  • Understanding of financial risk concepts, including Greeks
  • Familiarity with the FCA’s AIFMD Annex IV and SEC’s Form PF a bonus


Academics

  • 1st degree from a russell group university in a quantitate field
  • Masters / PhD preferred
