RF/mmWave IC Design Engineer
Requirements
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, RF Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required, along with strong fundamentals in RF circuit design and analysis and practical IC tapeout experience. Millimeter-wave circuit design experience is strongly preferred, though it is not essential for candidates with a strong RF IC design background.
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RF/mmWave IC Design Engineer to join a global team developing advanced semiconductor technologies for next-generation 5G and 6G wireless applications.
This is a full-time office-based role at our client’s R&D centre in Cambridgeshire.
This opportunity is open to engineers across a range of experience levels, from talented early-career engineers to highly experienced senior and principal-level specialists. You will contribute to the design and development of high-performance RF integrated circuits, working on innovative architectures and circuit solutions using advanced CMOS technologies.
Responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the specification, architecture, circuit design, implementation and verification of RF integrated circuits and subsystems
- Developing and optimising high-performance RF circuits for advanced wireless applications
- Supporting design verification, testing and troubleshooting to achieve performance targets.
Skills and Experience:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, RF Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong fundamentals in RF circuit design and analysis
- Practical IC tapeout experience
- Experience in mmWave circuit design is strongly preferred
