Job description

We are seeking an exceptional Resourcing Manager to join the dynamic IBCA Resourcing Team. In this fast-paced and varied role, you will lead a passionate team in delivering all aspects of recruitment, from planning to the seamless onboarding of new talent.


Person specification

  • Onboarding Excellence: Ownership and management of the new hire onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Track onboarding progress, troubleshoot any issues, and provide effective task management for a smooth transition into the organisation.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance for a team of up to two, ensuring high standards of performance and fostering a collaborative working environment.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage effectively with vacancy managers, the Government Recruitment Service (GRS) and external recruitment providers to secure high-quality recruitment outcomes promptly.
  • Inbox Oversight: Oversee the recruitment inbox, maintaining response service level agreements (SLAs) while ensuring effective team management of queries. Prioritise correspondence to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update recruitment dashboards and trackers, ensuring accurate and timely information is available for analysis and reporting.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide comprehensive data and reports on recruitment activity as required, supporting strategic decision-making and continuous improvement of recruitment processes.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Offer cover and support for Senior Resourcing Partners within the team as needed, contributing to a flexible and responsive recruitment function.
  • Projects: Opportunity to lead and support recruitment and compliance projects.
  • Specialised Resourcing Support: Play a pivotal role in managing visa sponsorships and overseeing contingent labour contracts, ensuring the organisation's diverse talent requirements are met effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Take the lead on projects to explore and implement new ways of working. Look for ways to continually improve the recruitment service offer.


Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in recruitment processes and onboarding procedures;
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and relevant employment legislation;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes;
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with data management and reporting tools to maintain recruitment dashboards and trackers.


Additional information:

A minimum 60% of your working time should be spent at your principal workplace. Although requirements to attend other locations for official business will also count towards this level of attendance.
