Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resilience Secretary based at Ailsa Hospital. This post is offered on a fixed-term basis for 6 months.
Please note that we anticipate a high level of interest in this position and may close the vacancy early once enough applications are received. Therefore, please make sure you complete and submit your application at your earliest opportunity.
This post is offered on a 6-month fixed term basis with the potential for an extension
Hours
36 hours per week.
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.

- To assist and support the Resilience Team in the fulfilment of their roles/responsibilities by providing high level administrative and secretarial support.
- To support the Resilience Team in providing a high-level administrative service including diary management and minute taking.
- To ensure actions are taken efficiently and delivered to high professional standards.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required For This Post
- Education to HND level in Business Administration or equivalent administrative experience
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Software packages
- Understanding of the health and care sector
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Experience of diary management
- Ability and experience to compile letters/emails and responses to meet users needs
- Experience of taking accurate minutes of meetings to final draft stage
- Dealing with numerous concurrent tasks, often working to tight deadlines and within challenging timescales
- Logical application, attention to detail and persistence and determination, regardless of task
- Production of high standard of documentation
