General Summary:

We are seeking an outstanding medicinal chemist to join our team as a Chemistry Research Fellow (Director level). The ideal candidate has an impressive history of accomplishments which have contributed significantly to the advancement of projects and is recognized as a thought leader and an acknowledged expert in medicinal chemistry. Responsibilities will include leading the design efforts of small molecule targets across a project and driving best design practice across our portfolio of projects, including application of cutting-edge AI methodologies to key medicinal chemistry challenges.

Key Requirements And Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates intellectual and/or technological chemistry leadership
  • Leads our science around molecular design, combining sound judgment, strong initiative and thorough methodology
  • Helps to teach and develop employees throughout the group in the field of medicinal chemistry.
  • Has a deep and thorough understanding of the small molecule drug discovery process.
  • Drives the highest standards of data integrity and provides interpretations and recommendations to Project Teams
  • Coordinates publication and patent submissions
  • Will drive best practice in AI methodologies applied to small molecule drug discovery

Education And Experience

  • Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) in chemistry or related science and relevant post-doctoral employment experience, or
  • Masters Degree (or equivalent degree) in chemistry or related science and relevant employment experience, or
  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent degree) in chemistry or related science and relevant employment experience
