We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
The Role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team within Scotland's national paediatric renal service, you will provide advanced clinical care for children and young people with complex renal conditions. The role involves assessing, diagnosing and managing patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing where appropriate, and contributing to the ongoing development of the service. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider renal network, support clinical decision-making, and play a key role in maintaining high standards of patient-centred care. For trainee applicants, the role will include undertaking a structured programme of academic and clinical development to achieve Advanced Nurse Practitioner competencies.
All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met. If the preferred candidate is appointed on Annex 21 terms, the role will not be eligible for sponsorship.
