Candidates must be Registered Nurses (Child and Adult background considered) with a specialty qualification in neonatal care. Applicants must be members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join the Neonatal Unit within NHS Forth Valley. Our Level 2 unit provides high-quality, family-centred care to babies requiring special care, high dependency and intensive care support.

This is an exciting time to join the service as we continue to strengthen our workforce and build future capability across neonatal services.

As a Neonatal Staff Nurse, You Will

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based care to neonates and their families
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Support parents to develop confidence in caring for their baby
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement and service development
  • Participate in a structured preceptorship and clinical development programme

We Are Looking For Individuals Who

  • Are Registered Nurses (Child & Adult background considered)
  • Qualified in Speciality qualification.
  • Demonstrate a passion for neonatal and family-centred care
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are adaptable, compassionate and motivated to learn
  • Can work effectively in a dynamic and often fast-paced environment
