Job Description

ABOUT PEGASUS INTERNATIONAL

Pegasus International (UK) Ltd. is expanding its multidisciplinary LNG and infrastructure advisory team. We are seeking highly experienced professionals for immediate engagement on a major LNG Terminal Project covering feasibility, FEED, technical assurance, commercial and PPP advisory, environmental and social safeguards, procurement, project controls and transaction execution.


THE OPPORTUNITY

Lead evaluation and design review of LNG regasification, boil-off gas management, utility and offsite systems, with emphasis on availability, efficiency, environmental performance and lifecycle cost.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Evaluate and compare ORV, SCV, IFV, shell-and-tube and hybrid regasification configurations.

·       Review BOG compression, recondenser, fuel-gas, LNG pumping, send-out, heating and pressure-control systems.

·       Develop utility balances for power, fuel gas, seawater, cooling water, nitrogen, instrument air, potable water and wastewater.

·       Assess availability, redundancy, turndown, start-up, shutdown, emergency and maintenance philosophies.

·       Review emissions, seawater-temperature impacts, combustion performance and environmental constraints.

·       Prepare equipment specifications, performance guarantees, acceptance criteria and lifecycle-cost comparisons.

·       Support FEED optimization, HAZOP, energy-efficiency review and technical bid evaluation.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering.

·       Chartered or Professional Engineer status is preferred.

·       Process-simulation and utility-system modelling experience is desirable.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

·       Minimum 12 years of oil, gas or LNG experience, including at least 8 years on regasification, gas-processing or cryogenic facilities.

·       Direct experience with at least two LNG terminal FEED, EPC or owner’s-engineer assignments.

·       Strong knowledge of ORV, SCV, IFV, BOG compression, LNG pumping and utility systems.

·       Experience in energy efficiency, cold-energy integration and emissions reduction is preferred.

·       Experience preparing tender specifications and evaluating technical proposals is desirable.

WORK LOCATION AND MOBILITY

·       Candidates must be willing to work from and support Pegasus offices and project assignments in the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Bangladesh.

·       International and domestic travel will be required for project meetings, site visits, workshops, technical reviews and stakeholder consultations.

·       Candidates must be able to obtain the necessary visas, security clearances, medical fitness and work authorization; Pegasus will provide reasonable support subject to eligibility and applicable law.
