About This Role
The People Services Staff Recruitment Team is looking to appoint a Recruitment Advisor (Temporary Staffing) for a period of up to 12 months. The role is available working up to a 0.6 FTE part-time basis.
The Recruitment Advisor (Temporary Staffing) is primarily responsible for managing all the recruitment related activity on behalf of the University’s Temporary Staffing Unit (TSU), supporting both hiring managers and candidates and providing advice and guidance to both in line with employment legislation and UWE policy and processes. You will also be a part of the wider recruitment team delivering a customer first experience for UWE new joiners ensuring a positive starting and working experience supporting the University’s ambitions in attracting and retaining talent and meeting our diverse workforce priorities.
About You
You will have previous experience of working within a recruitment or wider HR environment with an understanding of employment legislation and best practice that delivers a high quality, transparent and non-discriminative recruitment service on behalf of the University. You will have a strong customer focus with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels and manage a wide range of recruitment related activities. A good attention to detail is essential especially when producing employment related paperwork and working with sensitive personal data. Experience of using specialist platforms such as HR and Recruitment systems, case management systems (e.g. Ivanti) or similar would be an advantage.

UWE Bristol is a campus-based University, with vibrant campus communities that are central to student life.
In this role, you’ll be based at our modern Frenchay Campus where we’ve invested in state-of-the-art facilities designed to help both staff and students succeed.
You’ll spend most of your time on campus, typically 60 percent of your time, with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.

This is a part time, fixed term post and will be working with a job share partner. Applications are welcome from candidates looking to work full or part days up to 22.5 hours per week across Monday to Wednesday each week. The choice of working pattern across those days is flexible.
Salary offers are made in line with the University’s salary assessment guidelines, reflecting your relevant skills and experience in parity with colleagues.
