Receptionist

Buckshaw Hospital - Chorley

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Buckshaw Hospital is a day case facility that provides first class private healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-paying for treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system. The facility is an extension of services offered by Euxton and Fulwood Hall Hospitals.

Your main duty is ensuring that our patients have a positive customer experience when visiting Buckshaw Hospital. You will deal with all patient enquiries, give advice and guidance on the patient procedure during their appointment. There will also be Administration duties that form part of the role as well as answering calls and passing on information to our departments.

The successful Candidate will be required to work between the hours of 7am to 9pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.

  • Outstanding professional customer service and inter-personal skills 

  • Friendly, outgoing personality

  • Flexibility and adaptability to cover the needs of the department

  • Excellent communication and professional telephone skills

  • Administrative and receptionist experience within the healthcare sector (preferable)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn additional software

  • Excellent attention to detail 

  • Good time management skills
