About The Role
The role will be around designing and benchmarking new protocols for quantum error correction across a distributed quantum architecture. Successful candidates will work in a collaborative team of theorists and programmers, with support from theoretical and experimental physicists.

About The Role

Responsibilities - What You'll Be Doing
- Developing new protocols for distributed quantum error correction
- Benchmarking protocols and designs through numerical simulations
- Developing code as part of a team
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Representing the company externally through publications, patents, and conferences
Your skills, qualifications and experience
Essential
- PhD in quantum computing or related area, or equivalent industry experience
- Track record of high-quality publications
- Ability to work in a team and with other cross-functional teams
- Experience with programming in Python
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external partners
- Research experience in quantum error correction
- Experience with quantum programming languages such as Qiskit and Cirq
- Experience in classical or quantum networks
