Quantitative Analyst

London (City) | 5 Days Onsite (sensible flex when needed)

£70,000 - £150,000 Base Salary + Bonus

The Opportunity

We're partnering with a highly successful quantitative trading and analytics business that operates within a fast-paced sports and predictive modelling environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, research-driven organisation where mathematics, statistics, and data science sit at the heart of decision-making.

You'll be joining a talented technical team developing sophisticated predictive models used to analyse and forecast outcomes across global sporting markets.


The Role

As a Quantitative Analyst, you will:

  • Develop and enhance predictive models for forecasting event outcomes
  • Apply advanced statistical and mathematical techniques to solve complex problems
  • Analyse large datasets to uncover insights and improve model performance
  • Work closely with researchers, analysts, and software engineers
  • Contribute to the development of new modelling approaches and research initiatives
  • Influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations


What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from candidates who have:

  • A strong academic background in Mathematics or Statistics
  • PhD qualifications
  • Excellent statistical modelling and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Python programming experience
  • Experience working with real-world data and predictive models
  • A genuine passion for analytics and quantitative research
  • Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity


Experience within sports analytics or sports trading is advantageous but absolutely not essential. Candidates from a broad range of quantitative backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
