37.5 hours per week - Fixed Term until September 2027
We at the Early Intervention Team are looking for a Psychotherapist band 7 to join the multi-disciplinary team. The post is based at Kendray hospital site & the successful candidate will provide support and interventions to individuals who experience first episode psychosis or at high risk of developing a psychotic episode.
This post is a 12-month fixed term contract commencing in September 2026 to cover a secondment.
This is also an excellent opportunity for potential newly qualified therapist to work with the EIT existing therapists in the team to develop and enhance your trauma informed practice.
We are a family friendly team; our opening hours are 8.00am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9-5 on weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job
To provide therapeutic interventions to individuals under the care of The Early Interventions Team.
To provide structured CBT for transdiagnostic anxiety, depression, PTSD, psychosis and trauma.
These interventions aim to reduce the risk of relapse by addressing underlying trauma and enhanced coping strategies.

JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will provide specialist psychotherapy skills within a multidisciplinary team. The post holder will provide a high quality clinical service to the users of the service.
They will provide highly specialist assessment and intervention while working collaboratively with non-psychology and psychotherapy professionals from other agencies and carers. They will be clinically responsible to a senior clinical psychologist or psychotherapist. Clinical oversight of all work will be held by the clinical lead in the service.
The job plan will be delivered in the services the post is based.
The post holder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team while observing Trust and National policies and procedures.
The post holder will utilise research skills in audit, service development and research relevant to the post.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
