About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead a safe, efficient and high-performing production operation.

You’ll be responsible for delivering against key safety, quality, service, people, yield, efficiency and cost targets, while providing visible leadership to Team Leaders and the wider production team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, developing people and driving continuous improvement.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead daily production to deliver the agreed plan safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor KPIs and take action to improve productivity, yield, labour, waste, downtime and costs.
  • Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders, supporting performance, engagement and succession planning.
  • Ensure high standards of health & safety, food safety, hygiene, HACCP and compliance.
  • Investigate incidents, address risks and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Drive continuous improvement using data, root-cause analysis and practical solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide clear updates on performance, risks and recovery plans.
  • Build strong relationships with the wider Site Leadership Team and contribute to site-wide performance.
  • Support Noble Foods’ commitment to sustainability, inclusion and wellbeing.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading a production or manufacturing operation, ideally within food manufacturing or another regulated environment.
  • Strong people leadership and experience coaching Team Leaders or managers.
  • Good knowledge of health & safety, food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
  • Experience managing production plans, labour, yield, waste, efficiency and KPIs.
  • Confident using data to identify issues and drive improvement.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Relevant leadership/operational training.
  • IOSH Managing Safely, Accident Investigation, Manual Handling and HACCP Level 2, or willingness to achieve these.
