Location: ScottishPower HQ, Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary from: £47,200 per annum, up to 10% bonus & other excellent benefits

The ScottishPower Customer Business provides energy to millions of households and businesses across the UK, offering fair pricing, a range of tariffs, and innovative products that help customers manage and protect their energy usage. This role sits within the Smart Solutions department.
Reporting to the Senior Product & Partner Manager, the Product & Partner Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance of contracted service providers and installation partners. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day contract delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements, governance requirements, budget controls, and customer satisfaction targets. The role also focuses on building strong partner relationships that support service excellence and future business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the performance of third-party service and installation partners, ensuring delivery against contractual obligations, KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, and customer service expectations.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with partner organisations, engaging with stakeholders from operational through to senior management level.
- Support procurement activities, contract negotiations, and the establishment of contractual agreements for products and service partners.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on operational contract performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Take ownership of contract governance, risk management, and mitigation plans to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, developing and managing improvement roadmaps for products, installers, and service providers.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Smart Solutions products, services, and the UK home energy market.
- Ensure partners support the growth of Smart Solutions products through cost-effective, quality-focused, and customer-centric delivery.
- Plan and conduct audits of service provider systems, processes, and controls, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Validate and challenge third-party invoices, ensuring accurate billing and robust audit trails.
- Manage contract governance frameworks, performance reviews, and reporting structures to drive accountability and improvement.
- Support stock management activities and maintain appropriate control measures.
- Work collaboratively with operational, product, sales, marketing, finance, procurement, legal, compliance, and improvement teams to support business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, sharing of best practice, and growth through strategic partner engagement.
- Influence delivery solutions that balance customer outcomes, operational efficiency, commercial objectives, and business growth.
- Degree qualified or equivalent relevant business experience.
- Demonstrable experience of contract management, governance, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Experience managing and monitoring partner performance through KPIs and service metrics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Experience conducting audits and implementing corrective actions with external providers.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and contract management capabilities.
- Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of computer literacy and reporting capability.
- Commercial awareness with a focus on delivering customer and business value.
