Are you a Principal Structural Engineer with UK experience, looking to take a leading role within an established consultancy, offering sponsorship opportunities, where your technical judgement will shape major projects and influence the continued development of the business?
Are you looking for a position offering the authority to lead complex schemes, develop engineering talent and strengthen key client relationships, alongside hybrid working, flexi-hours and continued professional development?
In this role, you will provide technical leadership across a diverse portfolio spanning large-scale residential developments, complex industrial facilities, historic buildings, rail infrastructure and sports stadiums. You will oversee structural design and analysis, review and approve engineering calculations, guide project teams and resolve complex technical challenges. Acting as a senior point of contact for clients and external partners, you will take responsibility for technical quality and project delivery from concept through to completion.
Established for nearly 60 years and operating across six UK offices, this respected civil and structural engineering consultancy combines a strong industry reputation with ambitious plans for growth. Joining at Principal level, you will have the opportunity to influence engineering standards, develop client relationships and help shape the practice as it expands.
This role would suit a Principal Structural Engineer seeking greater influence, technical ownership and recognition within a specialist consultancy, offering a varied project portfolio, flexibility and scope for continued career progression.
The Role:
- Provide technical leadership across complex structural engineering projects
- Oversee structural analysis, calculations and design reviews
- Mentor engineering teams and manage key client relationships, with occasional site visits
- 37.5 hours per week, with flexible hours and hybrid working
