Theatre Practitioner – Orthopaedics | Spire Manchester | Competitive Salary | Permanent | 30 hours a week 

Spire Manchester is now recruiting an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join their warm and friendly team

Your role

As an Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner, you will:

  • Scrub for consultant-led orthopaedic surgeries, supporting procedures of varying complexity
  • Assess patients’ health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
  • Develop and deliver personalised care plans, considering perioperative risks and patient safety
  • Work collaboratively within a high-performing multidisciplinary theatre team, maintaining Spire’s exceptional standards of care

Who we’re looking for

  • HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse
  • Essential: Significant major Orthopaedic Scrub experience
  • Spinal experience desirable. 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident working across a multidisciplinary team
  • Motivation to develop further — SFA training fully supported
