This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you interested in developing your change consulting skill set to support the delivery of a wide range of change activity across the University, from projects and programmes delivering transformational change to locally driven change in Faculties and Professional Services? Would you like to use your experience of supporting organisational change to champion a people-centred approach to change in one of the largest higher education institutions in the UK?

The University of Leeds is currently progressing a significant amount of change across the institution. We are looking to recruit a People & Change Advisor to join our highly collaborative and supportive People Change & Engagement team to support a varied portfolio of change initiatives, ranging from service improvements and process change to projects and programmes that introduce new technologies, new ways of working or organisational development activity. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute across the full lifecycle of change: scoping and diagnosing changes, understanding people impacts, supporting the development of solutions, and planning, measuring and supporting implementation.

You would also form part of a network across the University, of change practitioners focused on building change capability within the organisation, employing an institutionally adopted people-centred change management approach to support the University’s change agenda. Within this collaborative network, you would be encouraged to bring examples of good practice, contribute your ideas to different change scenarios and also share your knowledge and learning.

We are looking for candidates with experience and interest in Change Management and strong stakeholder management skills as you will be collaborating with colleagues across a range of disciplines to develop solutions that ensure change is delivered successfully. Successful candidates will really care about putting people considerations at the centre of organisational change. They will also have capabilities in relationship building, facilitation and coaching.
