The Role & Responsibilities

The Logistics & Inventory Focal Point serves as the central coordinator for all inventory control and logistics operations, ensuring accurate stock management, efficient movement of goods, compliance with procedures, and timely support to business needs. The role bridges warehouse operations, procurement, and supply chain functions, acting as the main point of contact for related issues.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the NAV systems
  • Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile variances
  • Monitor stock levels and trigger replenishment in alignment with demand forecasts
  • Track material shelf life, batch/lot control, and product expiry management
  • Focal Point for issuing JCA's the operations team during busy periods
  • Provide support and take on work scopes when required
  • Focal Point for business lines on shipping issues and upcoming work scopes
  • Ensure compliance with shipping, handling, and documentation requirements
  • Prepare periodic reports on stock status, slow-moving items, and logistics KPIs
  • Analyse trends to identify areas for cost savings and process improvement
  • Act as the focal point for all logistics and inventory-related queries

The Requirements

  • Experience in inventory management, logistics coordination, or warehouse operations
  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, etc.)
  • Understanding of transport management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
